The short version

No account is required. Agenda stores your plans and preferences locally on your device. We do not sell your personal information, use your plans for advertising, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Agenda (“Agenda,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Agenda iOS app and this website. It also explains your choices. By using Agenda, you acknowledge the practices described here.

2. Information Agenda handles

Plans and app content

Agenda stores information you enter or create, such as plan titles, dates, times, deadlines, duration estimates, completion status, notes, raw text captures, and planning preferences. This content is stored locally on your device using Apple’s storage frameworks.

Voice capture

If you choose voice capture, Agenda accesses your microphone and Apple Speech Recognition to produce an editable transcript. Audio is recorded temporarily on your device while the feature is in use. Agenda requests on-device recognition when the device supports it. Apple’s handling of speech recognition may depend on your device, language, operating system, and settings.

Calendar information

If you grant optional Apple Calendar access, Agenda reads events from the upcoming planning period and imports details needed to show them as read-only commitments, including event identifiers, calendar identifiers, titles, start and end times, and last-modified dates. Imported information is stored locally. Agenda does not edit or delete events in Apple Calendar.

Preferences and diagnostics

Settings such as notification choices, reminder times, planning hours, language, onboarding status, and certain in-app activity states are stored locally. The current version is not designed to send your plan titles, transcripts, audio, locations, or calendar descriptions to us for analytics.

Website information

This informational website does not include advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or account registration. Like most hosting services, the provider that delivers the site may process standard technical logs—such as IP address, browser type, request time, and requested page—for security, reliability, and delivery.

3. Device permissions

Agenda asks only when a feature needs access. You can decline optional access and change permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

MicrophoneCaptures speech when you choose Plan by Voice.
Speech RecognitionConverts your voice into an editable transcript.
CalendarOptionally imports upcoming events as read-only commitments.
NotificationsDelivers reminders, Morning Brief, and Evening Close alerts you enable.

Declining Calendar or Notifications does not prevent you from using Agenda’s core manual planning features. Declining Microphone or Speech Recognition means voice capture will not be available, but you can still type plans.

4. How information is used

Information is used to provide the features you request: turning text or speech into structured plans; creating your timeline; estimating capacity; detecting scheduling conflicts; importing selected calendar commitments; scheduling local notifications; preserving your settings; and helping you review or reschedule unfinished work. On supported devices, Apple’s on-device language model may help interpret your capture. A deterministic on-device parser is used when that model is unavailable.

5. When information is shared

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your content for targeted advertising and do not track you across third-party apps or websites.

Information may be processed by Apple when you use Apple platform services such as Speech Recognition, Calendar, Notifications, the on-device language model, or the App Store. Those services are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policies. Standard website request information may be processed by our hosting and infrastructure providers solely to operate, secure, and deliver the website. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect safety or legal rights, or in connection with a business transfer, subject to applicable safeguards.

6. Retention and deletion

Your plans, imported calendar details, transcripts, preferences, and related app data remain on your device until you delete individual content, uninstall the app, or erase the app’s data through your device. Temporary voice audio is kept only as needed for the active capture and local processing workflow; canceling a voice capture deletes its recording. You can remove app data by deleting the app. Removing Agenda does not delete events from Apple Calendar.

Server logs associated with this website, if generated by the hosting provider, are retained according to that provider’s operational and security settings.

7. Children’s privacy

Agenda is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in their jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can address it.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

Because app content is stored locally and no Agenda account is required, you control most information directly in the app and through iOS Settings. You can edit or delete plans, disable notifications, revoke Calendar, Microphone, or Speech Recognition access, and uninstall Agenda to remove its local data.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, object to processing, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision. You may contact us to exercise applicable rights. We may need enough information to verify and respond to your request; however, we cannot retrieve content that exists only on your device.

9. Security and international processing

Agenda minimizes data collection and relies on Apple’s device security and app sandboxing to help protect locally stored content. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Website infrastructure providers may process technical information in countries other than yours, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Agenda evolves or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects how the app handles personal information, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
